Aviva have today released a document to explain its position with regards to the COVID-19 virus. Nick Reynolds  Aviva UK Health and Wellbeing Sales Director said the Government has announced that the NHS will cancel all elective and non-emergency procedures in NHS hospitals.Any procedures or consultations for conditions which are not life threatening, or time-critical, will be cancelled. As the private sector has made its facilities available to the NHS it gives the UK a fighting chance to support anyone who falls ill from the COVID-19 virus. The additional resource could be used to enable the NHS to continue to carry out urgent operations such as cancer treatments.
